The Client
The Challenge
Voting system and ballot creation for protocols of telos blockchain.
Outcome
UX and UI design of IOS and Android application

Blockchain by most of the public is known by its decentralized features and protocol management. This application is designed to bring in a user friendly voting platform for the blockchain that is being designed to be run in EOS/Telos network. So the main users are to be very familiar with the platform and the protocols being on ballot and the consequences.
Most of the user are tech and finance savvy and very familiar with the process. This is an enterprise app to manage internal protocols voting system in the blockchain.
To be aligned with the transparency in decentralized platforms, there will be just one account type to let all the users to create ballot and vote, that are the two main features of the app. But in details the app has 2 main category of users, one being the app developer/owner that are the users that will create ballots most of the cases, and the sconed user type is the regular members and token holders that usually just vote and in some cases may start a petition or ballot for a purposed protocol.
High-level list of app features and pages was created to further define and guide the vision for the product. Prioritizing the features with supporting data from people familiar with the network and its variables.
At this phase I understand and define a product map from all the contents and the possible flows for the user. While designing the flow, I try to address the user needs and wishes while implementing the business inputs.
Interaction Design
I completed a task flow and user flow to imagine the ways a user might /should navigate through the service.
At this phase, The information architecture and features accessibility is designed with high level low fidelity prototypes to show the flow and user journey before jumping into higher fidelity verisons.
As a normal process I follow, I began the early wireframing with sketches and considering precedents to use user knowledge and make it more intuitive. During this process, I thought about how the layout and content could be structured along with branding and business needs, to satisfy user and business goals in a technically feasible way. The sketches I chose served as a guide for my digital wireframes and then the prototypes.
As I define the branding elements and finalize them with the business, I gradually apply them to the wireframes and start creating higher fidelity designs.
Next, I created a UI Kit, a comprehensive collection of all components and UI patterns used on the platform. I used branding guidelines of the graphics the platform already had as the starting point and added components such as buttons and navigations bars as well as new icons I had created for the social feature.
